Outlander Meets Obsidian Butterfly, Hollywood needs this!
This is an epic tale, and one of the very few paranormal romance/action stories I’ve read that is done right. The historical transitions are flawlessly done, heart-wrenching at times. The sensual scenes are expertly crafted, incredibly hot, and intrinsic to the story.
And the characters? Cassandra has my heart. The author carried me through her emotions, her inner drives and made me glassy-eyed EVERY reading session. Well done!
The writing style is polished and intelligent, with vivid descriptions that placed me in the middle of each scene… This is not a short tale, but by the time I reached the halfway-point, I did not want it to end! I want to see this movie! Hollywood, are you paying attention?

Had this book in my library for a while. I finally read it last Friday and didn’t stop till late Saturday, it was great. I couldn’t stop reading it. Loved being taken in time. I liked all the characters. It got me with Forrest and from there I was hooked. Don’t miss out on the gem of a book.

Intense, intriguing, Irresistible
I’m not a big fan of menage romance. Am I ever glad that I listened to a friend’s recommendation and bought this novel anyway! It’s got a perfect love triangle, lots of sizzling scenes with quite a touch of BDSM, believable characters and a fascinating world of darkness and light. I loved being transported into the past while also watching their story unfold in the present. Will definitely check out Book 2 in the series.

I didn’t expect to like this book as much as I did. Actually, I fell absolutely in love with it! The connection between the three characters is something I have always wanted in a book. It is filled to the brim with sexual encounters, and you fall deeply for each and every one of them. Not only is it great erotica, beautifully written, but the story itself is a work of art.

Had I known it would be so amazing I would have read it right way instead of… letting it languish in my library for over a month. This new author blew me away.
The author paints a vivid picture with her words. I was immersed in the world of vampires she created and couldn’t put it down. Her characters are so detailed and rich I forgot that I don’t actually know them, and the way she writes her settings is amazing. I have already bought the next book and can’t wait to crack it open.

OMG! What a fantastic start for Grey Francis. I could not put my kindle down. The main characters have undeniable chemistry, and the story has great flow between the present and the past. Any lover of vampire, M/M, M/F/M, F/M/M and BDSM books will LOVE this first book in this series. It’s a scorching hot read. I cannot wait to read more in this series.

I was a lucky winner of this novel and didn’t know what to expect. The book arrived. It’s not a small book. Or a small, quick read. Grey takes the reader into the intricate world where her words float about like waltzing dancers. They hold your interest –and I confess I’m not a history buff – the weave of her character’s lives and the times they live through, the hazards and heartbreaks drowned me in the lush story. If you like vampires, this is a new spin on their legend. It is also not for the timid reader. The BDSM is as richly written as her action and adventure.

The Author takes you on a journey back through time and shares the life story of Cassandra and her mates and her soulmates Killian and Alastair. Full of hot, steamy Dominant/submissive passion. Fighting for survival against the enemy. Heartbreaking loss… I fell in love with these characters and can’t wait to see what happens next in the sequel, King in Chains.
